Event Description
The “Senior Resource Summit” is a free event designed to provide resources and information for seniors, their families, and caregivers. It will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Adair County Extension Office in Columbia, KY. The event will feature door prizes, giveaways, refreshments, and more than 20 vendors offering valuable information and services. Lunch will be provided by the Adair County Homemakers.

• 11:00 a.m.: How to Prepare for the High Cost of Getting Older – John Dotson, Attorney at Law (Kentucky Elder Law)
• 12:00 p.m.: Fall Prevention – T.J. Health Columbia (Devin Bell, PT-DPT; Trenton Watson, PT-DPT; Makensey Miles)
• 1:00 p.m.: Navigating Dementia in Palliative & Hospice Care – Supporting the Caregiver – Stephanie Alvey, RN BSN (Hosparus Health)
